The replacement branch will feature abundant natural light and plenty of comfortable seating. Additional amenities include an expanded children’s area with a program and crafts center, two meeting rooms, a computing area with instructional lab, study rooms, a teen space and quiet areas.

The Lewis and Clark branch in Moline Acres will receive a new 20,000 square foot, one-story building on their existing site. The facility will feature three different computing areas including a computing instructional lab, an expanded children’s area with a program and crafts center, a space for teens, a business center featuring fax and copy machines, multiple study rooms and a meeting room.

Work on existing facilities upgrades will soon begin at the Rock Road, Jamestown Bluffs, Indian Trails, Weber Road, Oak Bend, Natural Bridge, Prairie Commons, Cliff Cave, and Samuel Sachs branches.  These facilities will have upgraded and expanded children’s areas, quiet reading rooms, community meeting spaces, expanded computer access, and private study areas.
