Whiteside Elementary School Addition
Whiteside School District #115 has partnered with S. M. Wilson on the comprehensive expansion and renovation of existing school facilities. This will include a new classroom wing at Whiteside Elementary for its Pre-K and Early Childhood education, along with the construction of additional storage facilities with potential asbestos abatement as needed.
The elementary school's main entrance will also be renovated to enhance security, the installation of a new playground and a new parking lot with the reconfiguration of drive lanes to improve traffic flow and safety.
Previously, S. M. Wilson worked with Whiteside and successfully completed the construction of middle school in 2001, along with a large addition to Whiteside Elementary.
