New FEMA Shelter and Administration Addition
S. M. Wilson was selected by Caruthersville School District to serve as the Construction Manager at Risk for miscellaneous capital improvement and maintenance projects. The projects included a new FEMA shelter and Administration Building addition.
The new 5,030 SF FEMA shelter is part of the District’s High School Commons/FEMA Safe Building Project and provides near-absolute protection in extreme wind events, including tornadoes. Additions to the Administration Building included a 1,293 SF expansion to create additional workspace and room to grow to better serve District staff.
