Since the new facility is located adjacent to Highland High School, S. M. Wilson used the opportunity to create hands-on learning activities for students related to construction through its SKILLED program.

Seton Hall
Phase 2 of the College of Nursing at Seton Hall at UMSL consisted of a $1.2 million, 4,000 SF renovation of multiple floors.
In the basement, an existing chiller was removed and a new mechanical unit installed to serve the renovated floor. On the ground level, the deck was reinforced and removed to allow ductwork to pass through to the first floor. The first floor rooms were finished to house classrooms, a skills laboratory and a simulation room.
Other ancillary components included removal of abandoned mechanical equipment and the addition of cooling and UPS to an existing server room. S. M. Wilson coordinated all work with the University, as to not disrupt adjacent spaces still being used for teaching space while the building was occupied.
