Master Facilities Plan

As part of Phase I of their master facilities plan, the St. Louis County Library District upgraded several libraries throughout the region, including Indian Trails, Jamestown Bluffs and Rock Road.

Tesson Ferry received a new two-story, 40,000 SF building, located at a new site. The replacement branch features abundant natural light and plenty of comfortable seating. Additional amenities include an expanded children’s area with a program and crafts center, two meeting rooms, a computing area (including an instructional lab), study rooms, a teen space and quiet areas.

The Lewis and Clark branch received a new 20,000 SF, one-story building on their existing site. The facility features three different computing areas (including an instructional lab), an expanded children’s area with a program and crafts center, a space for teens, a business center, multiple study rooms and a meeting room.
