Lincolnwood Jr / Sr High School Gym Renovation & Addition
The Lincolnwood Jr / Sr High School project consists of a renovation and addition to the gymnasium.
The gymnasium’s renovation includes a new court floor, roof, doors, fresh paint, LED scoreboards and scorers tables, and an upgraded HVAC system to enhance the facility’s climate control. New bleachers will also be installed to improve spectator seating. The locker rooms will also receive some attention with a total remodel of the plumbing,
brand-new metal lockers, bath accessories, and lighting upgrades. The renovation also includes miscellaneous enhancements such as the installation of new doors, fresh painting, and HVAC improvements in the kitchen area.
The addition of a new weight/cheer room and corridor will add about 5,000 square feet to the existing multipurpose room. The structure will tie in nicely with the existing one, which has similar features, including interior masonry walls and exterior metal panels on top of the ground face block. The interior will provide new athletic flooring and an open floor plan for future equipment plans, along with a storage room.
This project aims to modernize the facility, ensuring it meets current standards for safety, comfort and functionality.
