Illinois EPA Office & ILEPA Lab Space
The new Illinois EPA Office project at White Oaks Mall in Springfield, Illinois converts a two-story, 186,000 SF former Sears story into a Class A office space and laboratory space for the Bureau of Water, Aire and Land division.
The facility was designed and is being built to achieve LEED v4 Silver Certification.
Installation of 29 skylights and four clerestories will allow for natural light. The facility will also house a 10,000 gallon rainwater harvesting system onsite.
