ST. LOUIS, MO – S. M. Wilson & Co. has promoted Andrew Ahlers from Senior Project Manager to Project Director. In this role, he will continue to focus on healthcare sector clients and pursuits, while providing support across other market sectors. In this role, Ahlers provides leadership and operational oversight on construction projects. He is responsible for ensuring that the entire team has the resources necessary and maintains high-level communication throughout each stage to meet the Owner’s schedule, budget and community engagement expectations.
Ahlers, of Edwardsville, IL, joined S. M. Wilson in 2014 and has held numerous Project Manager and Project Engineer roles over the last ten years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and has been a member of the Army National Guard since 2021.

Ahlers holds numerous certifications including ASHE-HCC (American Society for Health Care Engineering Health Care Construction Certificate), AGC of America CM-BIM (Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling), American Institute of Constructors AC (Associate Constructor); and OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health for Construction Industry. He also serves in the U.S. Army National Guard.
