Dr Pepper Snapple Group

In October 2007, S. M. Wilson & Co. was contracted by Dr Pepper Snapple Group to provide construction management services for their concentrate operations facility expansion/renovation project in St. Louis.  The project will update the current facilities, and will include improved fixed fire suppression capabilities, new electrical service, redesigned HVAC systems throughout the facility, the demolition of the existing maintenance and annex warehouse building, and the construction of a new 32,000 SF high-bay racked storage warehouse with provisions for flammable and refrigerated storage.

S. M. Wilson’s expertise on industrial projects will prove to be beneficial in dealing with the project’s tight site constraints and outage scheduling.  Construction will be coordinated on a daily basis with Cadbury Schweppes personnel in order to not interfere with regular shipments to and from the plant. Construction timing and coordination of materials will be crucial to the project’s success.  The just-in-time delivery method will be utilized for the delivery sequencing of all materials and equipment used on the project.
