 St. Louis, Mo., May 7, 2010 – S. M. Wilson & Co. has been selected to build a new 46,000-square-foot medical office building on the campus of Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois. The Prairie Pavilion II facility will be an $8.1 million, two-story building housing a variety of medical services.
The first floor will include physician clinic space for an orthopedics and sports medicine practice, expanded physical and occupational therapy offices, including three separate therapy gyms, massage therapy room, a physical therapy pool with locker room area, and space allocated for future MRI services. The second floor will include space for a home health and hospice, Human Resources, Employee and Organizational Development offices, as well as training classrooms.
S. M. Wilson will provide pre-construction and construction management services for the project. The Estopinal Group is the architect for the facility. Construction is scheduled to be completed in April 2011.
Prairie Pavilion II is the seventh construction project S. M. Wilson has handled for Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. The company is completing construction on a new two-story medical office pavilion and a road construction project, and has previously built Medical Office Pavilion #2, including a cardiac catheterization lab, Outpatient Surgery Center and orthopedic suite.
