 St. Louis, Mo., October 16, 2009 – The joint venture team of S. M. Wilson & Co. and Reinhardt Construction Company has been selected by Lutheran Senior Services to renovate the 31,000 square foot St. Joseph’s Home skilled nursing facility in Jefferson City, Missouri. Reinhardt/Wilson will provide Pre-Construction and Construction Management services for the project.
The renovation will focus on the three-level Robinson Building and the one-level Infirmary at St. Joseph’s Home. The facilities will be renovated with new finishes and technology to provide a more person-centered care culture consistent with Lutheran Senior Services standards.
St. Joseph’s Home offers around-the-clock nursing care, including supportive and intermediate care services, for area seniors. The facility is located two blocks from Heisinger Bluffs, a full continuing care retirement community operated by Lutheran Senior Services which S. M. Wilson renovated in 2004.
The St. Joseph’s Home renovation is scheduled for completion in 2010. The Lawrence Group is architect for the project.
Since 1992, Reinhardt/Wilson has built more than $200 million worth of construction projects in mid-Missouri. Other major projects in mid-Missouri include work at University of Missouri-Columbia, Columbia College and Boone County Hospital.
