St. Louis, November 9, 2009—S. M. Wilson & Co. has been selected by the Quincy Salvation Army to manage construction of a new $18 million community center in Quincy, Ill.
The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Quincy is made possible through a generous bequest left by Joan Kroc to The Salvation Army. The 90,000 square foot facility will be home to a 500 seat worship center, community room, café, party rooms, fitness center, child watch area, outdoor play area, aquatics center, state-of-the-art game room, walking/running track, gym, and climbing wall.
Construction is scheduled for completion in April 2011.
Architechnics, Inc. and Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture are the architecture firms for the project.
