| S. M. WILSON & CO. COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION OF $30 MILLION CONCORDIA VILLAGE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY ADDITION IN SPRINGFIELD, IL

 St. Louis, Mo., October 6, 2009—S. M. Wilson & Co. has completed construction of a new $30 million addition to the Concordia Village Continuing Care Retirement Community in Springfield, Illinois. Concordia Village is owned and operated by Lutheran Senior Services. The new addition is connected to Lutheran Senior Services’ existing housing facility at Concordia Village.
The new senior care facility includes a three story independent living wing with 78 independent living apartments and a single story assisted living wing with 48 assisted living units. Administrative offices, recreation rooms and dining and kitchen facilities are also located within the new building. The project also included construction of five new patio homes with 14 independent living units on the Concordia Village site. In total, the project includes 216,000 square feet of new construction.
St. Louis Design Alliance is the architect for the project.
