Below are just a few of our recent projects, but feel free to contact our experts for more on our experience.
Schneider Electric Technology Center
The 100,000 SF project included a new two-story learning facility with a penthouse. The building consists of a steel frame structure with a precast exterior and a white TPO roof along with an atrium and skylight. The first floor houses an executive briefing center, product demonstration center, reception and atrium area, research and development lab, air lab test chamber, storage area and mechanical and electrical rooms. The second floor includes the Customer Test Data Center, classrooms, conference rooms, office space, lounges and storage.
The facility incorporated the use of three different functions for consumers, an executive conference area for training and classroom use, lab space for potential customers to test run APC equipment and an air lab.

Mercy Health Enterprise Data Center
The first floor of the steel and pre-cast structure houses all of the mechanical and electrical systems. All systems and equipment on this floor are divided in half, with a mirror image of each other on both sides. With this mirrored design, there will be an immediate, emergency back-up for no interruptions.
The second floor contains 11,000 SF of support space and an 8,700 SF data room, which holds the server and cooling racks. The second floor features 15,000 SF of raised floor. Adjacent to the building are two cooling towers and emergency generators. The design is such that four additional chillers, cooling towers and additional generators can be added in the future for additional back-up. The facility is also serviced by two independent high voltage feeds to ensure no interruptions in power.

Community Health Network Data Center
Rollins Construction Company, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of S. M. Wilson & Co., was selected by Community Health Network to provide pre-construction and construction management services for their new 20,836 SF data center. The new data center consolidated all of Community's data center components into one location.
The data center was constructed off-campus near the Community Hospital North campus. The first floor of the two-story data center contains electrical equipment, a shipping and receiving area, equipment storage and a bench area for equipment preparation and deployment. The second floor consists of a 6,500 SF data floor to hold the server and equipment racks. The first phase of the project built-out only 3,387 SF of the 6,500 SF while the rest of the space will be built at a later date. The project also contains a secure equipment yard that houses the air cooled chillers which also have a free cooling option to take advantage of the Indiana winters, emergency generators along with a permanently installed load bank capable of routine testing of the entire design loads for the facility without potential disruptions to current operations. Cable trays and wire management systems were installed beneath the raised floor to provide a very clean and wire free appearance of the actual data center floor.
The data center features a fully redundant design including dual electrical services, dual chillers, dual generators, and dual fiber service. Other features of the project include a hardened structure capable of withstanding an F3 tornado, humidity controls, pre-action fire suppression system with a clean-agent fire prevention system in the critical electrical and data areas to prevent damage to the electrical and computer systems.
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Construction Cost: $7,455,265

Monsanto Building F Renovation - Call Center
The West and East Wing renovations at Monsanto included 168,000 SF of renovation with selective demolition of their existing four-story infrastructures. The new West and East Wing infrastructures each house Information Technology Technical and Administrative Personnel in 450 offices and cubicles on a raised floor distribution system.
In addition, Phase II of the Building F East Renovation project consisted of the renovation of a below grade, 200 ft pedestrian and utility tunnel that connects Building F with Building G. The tunnel was unearthed to allow for wall repairs, waterproofing, new floor slabs and new finishes. The renovation of a 70 ft sky-bridge that connects Buildings F and G was also part of the project. The sky-bridge received new exterior windows, standing seam metal roof system, HVAC equipment and interior improvements. The F Building project has been awarded LEED Silver Certification. The project design included several components worthy of LEED certification points, including the removal and replacement of all 1000 of the building’s existing windows in Phase II and recycled paper insulation behind the building’s granite skin.

Schneider Electric Americas Data Center
The Schneider Electric Americas Data Center is an Enterprise Class Data Center constructed within the larger Schneider Technology Center which is multi purpose corporate facility housing Research and Development, Product Testing, and Customer-Facing operations. One of the greatest challenges was to build the Data Center without impacting on-going operations, and insure that the Data Center, once operational, would be unaffected by the activities of these other departments.
The data center was constructed between an existing operational data center and a research area. One of the biggest challenges was not disturbing either operation. Significant planning went into the entry vestibule which in addition to serving as the Security Station for the Data Center, incorporates a conference table oriented in a “real-time” graphics-rich environment designed to provide visitors a virtual tour of the Data Center, including every aspect of the Data Center’s operation, from server traffic to thermal energy usage, without the need to actually enter the higher security section of the Data Center.
The project consisted of new electrical panels and distribution, new chilled water piping under the access floor, partition modifications, construction of a new electrical room to support the data center and installation of data racks and cooling units.
Location: O'Fallon, Missouri
Construction Cost: $1,100,000
